A unanimous Supreme Court has made it easier to bring lawsuits over so-called reverse discrimination, siding with an Ohio woman who claims she didn’t get a job and was demoted because she's straight.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday unanimously ruled that employees from majority groups, such as white or heterosexual workers, are not required to meet a higher legal standard than minority-group employees when bringing forward workplace discrimination claims.

The Supreme Court on Thursday revived a lawsuit from an Ohio woman who​ claimed she was the victim of reverse discrimination.
