The Terps used excellent defense and solid 3-point shooting to cruise past the No. 11 Blue Devils. Maryland improves to 3-0 with the win.

Late in the fourth quarter, Maryland guard Bri McDaniel put her head down and drove along the baseline. She went up between two defenders and squeezed through contact to finish the layup while being fouled. In a flash, she turned toward the bench, fists clenched, and shouted at her teammates through a menacing grimace.

The Terps won their rematch against an old ACC foe thanks to 23 points from Kaylene Smikle and 17 from Shyanne Sellers.
