Braves star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. has taken batting practice at spring training with teammates, and right-hander Spencer Strider has already thrown a side session.

North Port, Fla. – Braves star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. took batting practice at spring training Thursday, and right-hander Spencer Strider has already thrown a side session this week at their Florida camp.

But when will Strider and Acuna be available? Braves manager Brian Snitker said he was encouraged with how Strider looked during a bullpen session earlier this week and the workouts Acuna did in Atlanta. Snitker said the team will work on an exact timeframe for the ace and star to return to the starting lineup as spring training goes on.

Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter predicted an additional veteran pitcher to begin the 2025 MLB regular season in the Atlanta Braves starting rotation.
