Authorities suspended the search for seven missing people, including two children, after a panga-style boat overturned near San Diego on May 5 and three people were found dead.

Three people were killed, four were injured and seven others are missing after a small boat overturned early Monday in the ocean off San Diego, sheriff’s officials said.

The authorities said 17 life jackets were found but it was unknown how many people were aboard. Search and rescue efforts were suspended Monday morning.
