Former UConn women’s basketball star Paige Bueckers has only gotten a taste of WNBA physicality less than two weeks into her first training camp with the Dallas Wings. Though she’s already feeling the challenge of battling professionals for the first time,

Bueckers is coming off winning a national championship with UConn. She also has a history of injuries. In 2022, Bueckers was out with a torn ACL before the start of the season. As a result, she has worked closely with the Wings staff to ensure that she is healthy.
