Six Gotham players, including Crystal Dunn, have been invited to U.S. Soccer’s opening training camp in Southern California later this month, the sport’s governing body announced Tuesday. Dunn will be joined by Tierna Davidson, Jenna Nighswonger, Emily Sonnett, Nealy Martin and Ella Stevens for the weeklong camp, which will run from Jan. 14-21.

Although there won’t be any games because this camp takes place outside of a FIFA international window, it will give many new names the chance to impress.

Sophia Smith, Mallory Swanson and Trinity Rodman, the trio nicknamed Triple Espresso, won't report to the U.S. national team's January training camp as all three continue to rest injuries.
