Christian Horner has been fired by the Formula 1 Team Red Bull over a year after being cleared of inappropriate behavior, the team confirmed.

Christian Horner oversaw the most dominant era in Red Bull Racing's Formula 1 effort, leading the team's effort to eight drivers' titles and six constructor titles in his 20 years as team principle. That all came to an end on July 9 though,

Christian Horner, wife of Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, was fired from leading Red Bull Racing’s Formula 1 team after 20 years in his role. He is set to be replaced by Laurent Mekies.
