A fire in the small Arizona community of Greer in the eastern part of the state prompted evacuations after it grew to 3,500 acres in one day.

FLAGSTAFF, AZ (AZFamily) — Flagstaff residents woke up to smoke filling the air after a train engine caught fire early Thursday morning.

On June 7, 2024, police were called to a residence near Rosser Street and Willow Creek Road in Prescott regarding a domestic dispute, but one of the involved individuals, 34-year-old Daniel Leslie, had left the scene prior to the arrival of police, according to authorities.

Multiple buildings have been destroyed and evacuations have been ordered as a wind-driven wildfire burns through an Apache County community.
