Victor Wembanyama didn't appreciate a shove from Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac as the two sprinted toward the hoop Wednesday night. The San Antonio Spurs' Harrison Barnes knocked down a three-pointer as Zubac sent Wembanyama flying into his own bench as the shot went through the net.

That happened on Wednesday as Wembanyama's Spurs faced the Los Angeles Clippers. As Wembanyama attempted to get into position to rebound a Harrison Barnes 3-point attempt, Clippers center Ivica Zubac gave him a shove in the back that sent him tumbling to the floor.

Wemby went 1-for-4 in the second quarter as the Clippers ramped up their intensity on defense against him. Devin Vasell took over for Wembanyama and delivered nine points and one assist in the period. San Antonio surrendered the lead to trail 67-60 at halftime.

After a week in France, Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs are back in the United States to resume the regular season. The Spurs won the first of two contests vs. the Indiana Pacers in Paris by 30 points.
