With OSU at the Penn State 13-yard line trying to pad its 14-10 lead in the second quarter, Howard ran for an apparent touchdown. But the call was ruled a touchback on review after it was determined that safety Zakee Wheatley had knocked the ball through the end zone before Howard reached the goal line.
