Netflix has censored a remark CM Punk made about Sami Zayn during last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown. In a pre-match promo, Punk took a shot at Zayn. This was by referencing his hand injury and his previous short run as WWE Champion.

During the September 14 episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that Raw, SmackDown and NXT will begin streaming on Netflix for viewers in Japan starting October 1. The move coincides with the expiration of WWE’s current agreement with ABEMA on September 30. ABEMA has been the home of WWE programming in Japan since 2023.

WWE is set to bring its programming to Netflix in Japan beginning in October 2026. WWE Japan announced the news on X, revealing that WWE content distribution will begin on Netflix Japan once the company’s current agreement with Abema comes to an end in September.
