Snow is falling across southern New Jersey early Monday with at least an inch of snow in the forecast for much of the state by the end of the day with up to 8 to 12 inches in the bullseye zone of Cape May County.

By the time the snow ends Monday, Ocean County should see 2 to 4 inches of snow, while Monmouth residents should expect 1 to 3 inches, according to meteorologists with the National Weather Service in Mount Holly.
