After being honored in Chicago this week, former Bulls star Derrick Rose opened up on whether he'd be open to his statue in the city. Hilariously, Rose declined the offer but he made sure to add that a jersey retirement would not go underappreciated.

Rose returning to Chicago has been a huge deal since retiring last year, and now the former Bulls point guard has higher hopes from the organization. When talking to ESPN's Shams Charania, Rose revealed that he wants his jersey in the rafters of the United Center.

Whether it's been a pop-up flower shop, showing off a documentary about his life, or all the pageantry expected on Saturday at "Derrick Rose Night," the week has belonged to the former guard as he gets ready for the Bulls to honor him.
