The son of two Berlin ballet dancers, Max Kepler isn't your typical major league rookie. The Twins outfield prospect hopes his success can inspire a baseball boom in his native Germany.
He and his mother moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where Max completed his final two years of high school in only one year while also playing in the Gulf Coast League at age 17.

Max's mother, Kathy Kepler, is from Texas, and his father, Marek Rozycki, is from Poland, and they met at a barre -- namely, the Berlin Ballet Company.
