Before there was Nassau Coliseum, there was the Long Island Arena. In 1959, Suffolk County birthed its first arena at 88 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack.

The concert was held on August 24, 1975 at the Island Music Center, a venue that had various names through the years, including Long Island Arena, Commack Arena and the Suffolk Forum.
