Lakers star LeBron James spoke for the first time since he and his family were to forced to evacuate their home due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

LeBron James hopes that a Lakers win over the Miami Heat can provide a brief period of happiness and relief for the people of Los Angeles

"Personally, I’ve been off," the Lakers star said, adding that he's been staying in a hotel since evacuating Thursday night.

It was a 117-108 win for the Lakers and while it was not LeBron James ' best game by any means, he did step up to the plate in the fourth quarter. 9 of LeBron's 22 points on the night came in the fourth quarter, as he led all players in fourth quarter scoring to guide the Lakers over the line.
