Babydog has served as an unofficial mascot for the state over the past few years, appearing at Justice’s side during press conferences, public appearances, and even during the State of the State address when he showed off Babydog’s asshole in a message to Bette Midler.

A beloved plump bulldog who won the hearts of millions of Americans has become the newest Senate pet. Babydog, the chunky bulldog, will be heading to the Senate with owner and West Virginia Governor Jim Justice after he won the state's open Senate seat.
