Collin County celebrated a step toward affordable housing last week, officially breaking ground on Jericho Village, a 2.5-acre, 38-unit transitional housing project in Wylie.

The rent at Jericho Village will be income-based, with wrap-around services on-site to help women and single mothers build a strong foundation.
