Philadelphia wide receiver DeVonta Smith has played in five of his 68 NFL games without former Alabama teammate Jalen Hurts as the Eagles quarterback, including on Sunday. In two of those five games, Smith has caught two touchdown passes, including on Sunday.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has left the Eagles game against the Commanders after he suffered a head injury.

Olivia Reiner of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley presented the golf carts to the offensive linemen as a joint Christmas gift. Each cart bore the lineman’s name and number and carried the logos of Hurts and Barkley on the back.

Hurts was injured early at Washington after his head slammed against the ground on one run and he was hit in the helmet by Commanders linebacker Frankie Luvu at the end of another.
