As part of the announcement, it was revealed that the Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) group—owners of the New Jersey Devils and 76ers—are helping fund the future “world-class” arena.

The Philadelphia Flyers will have a new home. As revealed earlier Monday by Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli, Comcast Spectacor, owner of the Flyers, has announced plans to develop a new arena in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex that is expected to open in 2031.
