Method 2: Use the Favorites Button on the Toolbar Open Microsoft Edge. Look for the star icon with three horizontal lines (★ with lines) near the top-right corner next to the address bar.

In the Favorites menu, click the three-dots menu, go to Show Favorites Bar, and choose Never. You can also set it to show only on new tabs if you prefer, but I like to keep it off.
