Road conditions across the Tennessee Valley continue to improve, but not without some problems along the way. 8:30PM update from Lauderdale County EMA - Please use caution when driving. Black Ice has been reported on First Creek Bridge on HWY 72 in Rogersville.

A winter weather advisory will remain in effect for all of north Alabama until 10 a.m. The National Weather Service in Huntsville said black ice will be possible on roads until temperatures rise above freezing. The weather service thinks that most spots in north Alabama will inch above 32 degrees between noon and 3 p.m. today.
