East Sussex drivers are being urged to be “deer aware” this spring as road collision risks rise in April and May during deer birthing season.

The deer were located a short distance away from a sign warning drivers of livestock in the area. The police force asked drivers to lower their speed slightly in order to avoid these collisions.
