Samoa Joe returned to AEW after six months on last night's special Maximum Carnage episode of Dynamite, helping allies Hook and Katsuyori Shibata clean house against The Patriarchy.

Samoa Joe would make his way out to the ring and proceed to clear the ring, saving both Hook and Shibata, marking his return after being gone for the last few months.

Samoa Joe made his return on the January 15th episode of AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage, saving HOOK from an attack by Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, & Kip Sabian. Christian, Wayne, and Sabian were seemingly setting up for the con-chair-to on HOOK when Joe's music hit.

The former ROH & AEW World champion has been off filming Twisted Metal, but now he’s back to pick up (kinda) were he left off.
