BEIJING, Dec 26 (Reuters) - Chinese battery manufacturer CATL (300750.SZ), opens new tab said on Thursday it plans to seek a listing in Hong Kong, a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing showed.

Discussions on a possible partnership between the two companies have been ongoing since the summer with representatives meeting at CATL headquarters in Ningde, China, according to the report.
