An investigation is underway after a deadly morning accident Tuesday morning involving a pedestrian shut down the westbound 134 Freeway between the 210 Freeway and San Rafael Avenue for hours.

A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash this morning on the 5 Freeway near Atwater Village, authorities said.

Two people were taken into custody after two pursuits in LA. Both vehicles were reported stolen from a dealership in Nevada.

She said there are plans to build other wildlife crossings over the 5 Freeway and 134 Freeway near Griffith Park. She hopes that will allow mountain lions to move around safely.
