South Korea’s Constitutional Court could soon rule whether to dismiss or reinstate impeached conservative President Yoon Suk Yeol.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, who lawmakers voted to impeach, was released from detention Saturday after spending nearly two months in custody under a criminal probe for his martial law declaration.

SEOUL – President Yoon Suk Yeol was released from jail Saturday after a court accepted his request to overturn his arrest over his short-lived imposition of martial law in early December.
