Speaking during an event at the BFI cinema in London, the "Mission: Impossible" star revealed that it was thanks to encouragement from his sister that he landed his role in "Rain Man.

Tom Cruise revealed that his younger sister Cass forced him to introduce himself to Dustin Hoffman at a New York City restaurant in 1984, an event that eventually led to Cruise and Hoffman making the 1988 classic 'Rain Man' together.
