The decision was largely expected after Ewers told ESPN last week that he didn’t plan to return to college football in 2025.

The NFL Draft announcements are starting to roll in for Texas football players. Jaydon Blue, Kelvin Banks Jr. and Hayden Connor each announced their intent to make the jump to the pros and declare for the draft in 2025 on Sunday.

Unlike previous years, the 2025 NFL Draft class doesn't feature a loaded roster of wide receiver prospects, but Texas Longhorns wideout Matthew Golden has the chance to be one of the top players in the group.
