Why Canada’s World Juniors struggles shouldn’t have been a surprise
Those are all good questions, and as I tend to do for almost every World Junior tournament, I had predicted this team would win gold and thought it had a roster that could roll over opponents like we’re accustomed to. But that was wrong, and that’s on me for misevaluating the team.
What went wrong at the World Juniors for Team Canada
Another IIHF World Juniors Championship has come and gone for Canada, and the team will be going home empty handed once again. Team Canada fell to Czechia 4-3 in Thursday’s quarterfinal for the second straight year. For many fans, it left a sour taste in their mouth.
