In what the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office is calling a “rare" case, a couple of thieves stole over $1,000 worth of meat from a Cupertino Safeway on Homestead Road.

Over one thousand dollars in stolen meat is safe once again after being recovered in Cupertino. The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office says the meat was recently stolen from a local supermarket in what deputies call a rare case.
