Mavericks General Manager Nico Harrison was fired Tuesday during a meeting with team owner Patrick Dumont, the team confirmed.
Harrison and the Mavericks stunned the NBA in February by dealing Doncic to the Lakers for Anthony Davis without shopping him around for other offers. Fans were irate and Harrison was widely panned for dealing a generational player in his prime.
