Quinn Ewers' agent revealed the bizarre reason why his client fell down to the Miami Dolphins in round seven of the draft.

Ewers was selected below Florida's Graham Mertz (sixth round), North Dakota State's Cam Miller (sixth round) and Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke (seventh round). Quite the fall for a quarterback who was the No. 1 overall recruit in the high school class of 2022.

It wasn't a huge surprise that quarterback Quinn Ewers had to wait until the final day of the 2024 NFL draft to hear his name called. But the seventh round was much later than most, including Ewers, anticipated.
