Maison Rabanne has unveiled the world's most expensive bag during its Spring 2025 show as part of Paris Fashion Week. Priced at $278,353, the new 1969 Nano Bag was created in collaboration with artisan jeweler Arthus Bertrand.

According to Sotheby’s, the most expensive bag ever sold was the Diamond Himalaya Birkin 30. The valuable pick, embellished with 18-karat white gold hardware and white diamonds, went for $450,000 in 2022. The year prior, the Diamond Himalaya Birkin 25 sold for $300,000.

On Wednesday, French fashion house Rabanne debuted the world’s most expensive bag for its spring/summer 2025 collection.
