LAS VEGAS — Jordan Walsh called his ejection Monday against the Heat a “rookie mistake.” His coach, Joe Mazzulla, watching from high in the bleachers of Cox Pavilion with his family, texted his young swingman and said he “loved” the fire.

Despite Walsh's poor decision-making, it would appear that Joe Mazzulla was a fan of the fire and fight that Walsh displayed on the court. When speaking to reporters in attendance after the game, Walsh shared a message Mazzulla had sent him via text.

Jordan Walsh actually shoved Pelle Larsson into new Celtics owner Bill Chisholm and general manager Brad Stevens, who were sitting in courtside seats on Monday night.
