HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — Harrisburg police are investigating after one person was injured following a shooting Tuesday evening. Emergency dispatch confirmed the incident happened around 7:30pm in the 300 block of Hummel Street, the same road where another woman was shot to death in her home Saturday evening.

Gibson was fatally shot in the chest around 11:19 p.m. while inside her home on the corner of the 300 block of Hummel Street, next to Swatara Street. Police said someone shooting from the street killed Gibson. She was not believed to be the intended target.
