One person is dead after a house fire in Simi Valley, which authorities determined to be caused by explosions from fireworks on Thursday afternoon.

More than 130 firefighters battled a fire involving fireworks explosions that engulfed four homes in Pacoima and critically injured a woman on Thursday night, authorities said.

The explosion at the fireworks warehouse in Yolo County caused the cancelation of a number of 4th of July fireworks shows, including one in San Jose.
