It’s a short hike up a closed road from a parking area. The water is cold and refreshing. It’s easy to climb up the rock to slide down it, as a tree is lying down and it can be used to hoist oneself … Full review by elik1265

We loved this place but make sure to go in the AM or early evening to avoid the people if you are socially distancing. We had such a great time. Be prepared to hike about .5 mile to the slide rock...… Full review by Livelifeoutloud

Is there a safe place for an elderly couple to stand and watch people sliding?

There is a steep area to climb down- an elderly person would need assistance but then there is a small “beach area” for chairs to watch.
