Definitely cool to see if you're passing through, just to say you went. But, the area seems super sketchy and run down. I wouldn't go if you're squeamish about rough neighborhoods. Full review by StevinB1

Take any bus going south on Broadway that goes at least to 23rd Avenue. Head west on 23rd Avenue appx 7 blocks and you will see the house on the Southwest corner. I would say it is safe to walk alone in the area during the day.
Hi, I plan to visit Michael Jackson's house in Gary, Indiana this year. I will stay in Chicago and take a bus to Gary. I want to spend one or two nights in Gary honestly, because I will be traveling from Indonesia for the sole purpose to visit his house. But after few search of information in internet I learn that Gary is not a safe place to visit let alone to spend few days there. For additional information, I will be traveling alone and probably will have to walk around from bus station to get to the house. Can you give me some advises on what should I do to get there safely?
