how do I buy a joint ticket for the castle, prison and the cathedral ?
A:
Castle and prison are on a combined ticket. Cathedral is now separate and a stand alone visit.

Do you have to pre-book or can you buy tickets on the day?
A:
We bought tickets on the day, having said that it wasn't busy but now it's school holidays might be better booking online.

How long do you need here to do all that the combo ticket gets you into Ie the walls, prison etc Would 3hrs be enough

Yes 3 hours should cover it but be aware that because of covid restrictions there may be a queue for the Magna Carta exhibition.

Wheelchair users can access the Magna Carta Vault and all levels of the prison. With regards to the wall there is a lift to take you up to the walls but only the East Wall is accessible …

Wheelchair users can access the Magna Carta Vault and all levels of the prison. With regards to the wall there is a lift to take you up to the walls but only the East Wall is accessible (the one over looking the Cathedral). Hope that helps.
