Typically you can expect to stay on the island until about 3-330pm ... the boats will want to get back across the water to the mainland wel before dark (6pm). there were some people camping on the island when we arrived ... but keep in mind...NO facilities on the island at all so you'll need to take everything with you. And not sure if you need to have permission for this in advance? I can't imagine it being too too busy on Jan 15th. enjoy!
