You need to hike to the ledge overlooking the former quarry. The path is very wide and well maintained (pea sized gravel). You can approach it from either entrance to the park. Check the Lake Metroparks website for the park map and you will see the trails. Anyone with average walking ability should be able to easily make it up the trails to the ledge and overlook area.
