You would be able to reach the visitor's center/museum/gift shop over a walkway that is uneven, but you would not be able to enter the home. The visitor's center is a small room. You should check out the Schuyler Sisters and Their Circle exhibit at the Albany Institute History and Art. It leaves Dec. 29 but it is fantastic. It is handicap accessible.

You must reserve the special tours but can not reserve the general tours. I'd read through the website carefully as it warns that tour groups and special events will alter the tour schedule. The general tours only start once an hour, so if your timing is off it's a long time to wait with only a public library within walking distance.
