The trip is worth it to see the Fern Grotto! It’s beautiful! The ride is beautiful, but you must sit on the outside seats (limited) to see everything. For the price, and time spent, it’s isn’t bad,… Full review by L P

Fun family experience. We had 2 young kids and it was a great way to see the sights of Kauai with them. I wouldn’t do it if your time was tight and limited but we had a week so it was easy to fit in. Full review by Megan F

We were there last sept. did not go to the luau but did take the river cruise. It is worth the trip. It,s kind of hokey/touristy but is fun. And after all we are tourists! The staff is friendly & informative. It takes about 20-30 minutes for the ride down the river to the grotto, then a short walk through a wooded area. The grotto is lovely. There is entertainment at the grotto & on the ride back

The dock before getting on the boat has restrooms as does the fern grotto. There are no restrooms on the boat.
