Hello! I am planning to bring my parents for the Godfather tour next year. My father wants to visit the place so bad. They're both in their early 70s and any recommendations where to stay (if in Catania or Palermo), what time of the year (not too hot because of their BP), the cost of the tours and the duration. Best time for temperature is autumn as spring and summer may be hot for your parents. The Godfather tour goes to villages near Taormina which is about 1 hrs drive from Catania and 4 hrs from Palermo. The tour we did was a private tour with a nice large vehicle just for us $280 Euro. There are bus tours also available at a cheaper cost around $150 Euro etc.
