I asked. The Provinces of Spain paintings were commissioned by Huntington (the founder) for the museum. They're actually large canvases, not murals. The museum's brochure says they were painted from 1911 to 1919. By the way, the floor tiles were by Mercer's Moravian Tile Works in Doylestown, PA. Check out the quirky. Mercer Museum if you're ever in the area.
