Lovely hiking trail near Blowing Rock (I walked there from downtown.). It’s an easy hike, but I still felt that I had a workout. There are places to sit and read or contemplate the lake. Full review by Amanda N

no you cannot swim there. There is a public pool in Blowing Rock. May have to pay a fee to get in.

No kayaks, no homes. It is situated inside a federal park.
