The parks surrounding the Washington Memorial are interesting. There were a bunch of historical places nearby. The memorial itself inspired awe- one of the first in the USA.Full review by Frookum

Lots of good restaurants a short walk down Charles. If you like Turkish food, Cazbar (326 N Charles) is about a five minute walk. That block is especially good for dining.
