As mentioned above, Gertrude's is on site and run by award winning chef and cookbook author John Shields - a great was to learn about Chesapeake cuisine. Also a couple blocks to the southwest on 29th street is the unusual Paper Moon Cafe, wildly decorated in an eclectic mix of art and kitsch. A 'museum' in its own right.

Yes, I'm pretty sure they are.

There are minor works by Matisse and Monet. It's not a large collection, maybe two or three rooms....
