WEBOptions. 02-11-201604:26 PM. If you wear a 10 in a shirt, you would need a medium from Talbots. I wear an 8 in a shirt and wear a small or medium from Talbots. I like Talbots but don't purchase from there a lot. I have both sizes though. According to Talbots size chart, an 8-10 is a medium.

Then click on "size chart" on the left hand side of that page. You will then see several tabs right above the Size Guide. Click on the tab that says Talbot Pant Fits.

However, there is nothing wrong with Coldwater Creek except they use a lot, a lot, a lot of polyester and I mean polyester in the big way. They do, however, from time to time, have some nice polyesters.

Little waist definition and very slim hips. The pants would be tight in the waist and swimming on me in the hips and butt.

I know this information can help others in making a decision. @San Antonio Gal. Whatever makes them happy but my purchases should make them happy. The prices seem to be about the same as summer prices. Nothing really appealed to me--except the Paris tote bag. and I am a real Talbots fan. I might have hit my maximum Talbots limit.
